North Park is a small neighborhood on Chicago’s far North Side. Compared to some other Chicago neighborhoods we’re less well known, but we have a proud history, an active community, and a deep diversity of ethnicities, incomes, and ages. We think it’s truly a special place.
But while Chicago is overflowing with amazing farmers markets—in and around our neighborhood there just aren’t any. So in 2017 a small group of North Park residents decided to get together and make our own!
Our vision is to create a neighborhood market that can bring fresh food from local farms, musical entertainment, activities for kids, and a venue to highlight artisans and local businesses. We also want the market to create a focal point for North Park—a way to bring the neighborhood together and give neighbors more opportunities to meet each other and break bread.
We started small with 3 "pop-up" markets—and will be rolling out a full season of markets in 2018!
