North Park is a small neighborhood on Chicago’s far North Side. Compared to some other Chicago neighborhoods we’re less well known, but we have a proud history, an active community, and a deep diversity of ethnicities, incomes, and ages. We think it’s truly a special place.
But while Chicago is overflowing with amazing farmers markets—in and around our neighborhood there just aren’t any. So in 2017 a small group of North Park residents decided to get together and make our own!
Our vision is to create a neighborhood market that brings fresh food from local farms, musical entertainment, activities for kids, and a venue to highlight artisans and local businesses. The markets creates a focal point for North Park—a way to bring the neighborhood together and give neighbors more opportunities to meet each other and break bread.
Thank you to the Hollywood North Park Community Association, our parent organization. Without their help the North Park Community Market would still be merely a dream!
